Fed up of the sandy beach? Mount Wise Swimming Pools is a complex of 3 outdoor pools: a 25 main pool, a small paddling pool for young children and an activity pool including a fountain, whirlpool and bubble pool. You can picnic and sunbathe on the terrace and it’s all completely FREE to enter!

Kayaking or Paddle Boarding at Cawsand Beach. For adventurous teenagers, Hans will take you exploring the rocky local coastline in a Kayak or you can just have fun in the sea. Do you have good balance? I recommend the world’s fastest growing Watersport Stand Up Paddleboarding (as seen on MICIbeza!). Suitable for all ages, £12 per session.
For something more cultural, why not visit Smeaton’s Tower – a lighthouse that was originally build on the Eddystone Reef in 1759 but was moved stone by stone to The Hoe in the 1880s. The lighthouse is 72 foot high and you can climb the 93 steps to the top for fantastic views of Plymouth Sound and the city from it’s lantern room. Children will enjoy exploring
